Fees & Payment Information

The fee for individual psychotherapy is $110 per hour session. The cost of participation in a Coping Skills Group is $35 per week, in addition to $110 for the initial assessment. Payment is due at the time of service. I am unable to accept credit card or check cards. Please bring a check or cash.

Insurance

If I am an in-network provider for your insurance company, I may bill your insurance company for services. I am not in-network for some insurance providers. I do not accept HMO’s, Medicare, Medicaid, and several other insurance plans. If I am a not an in-network provider for your insurance plan, I expect full payment at the time of service. I will provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance carrier.

Please note that some insurance plans have high deductibles and limits on the number of mental health sessions allowed per year. You may want to discuss these issues with your insurance company.

If you plan to utilize your insurance benefits for payment, I will ask you to call my billing clerk at least 72 hours before our first appointment. She will verify your insurance and set you up for billing. I will provide for you her telephone number when we talk.
