OFFICE SAFETY MEASURES FOR COVID-19

In addition to my Telehealth and Virtual services , I provide in-office services. For your sake and for myself and other clinicians working in the offices, health and safety measures are in place that are in keeping with CDC guidelines. As these guidelines evolve, the following protocols may be impacted, and are thus subject to change without notice.

Protocol for In-office DBT Groups

Do NOT come to the office if you have a fever or are sneezing or coughing, whether because of illness or allergies. Your appointment can always be switched to a telehealth or virtual appointment. When you arrive in the parking area, please DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING. Text me at 404-323-0152 upon arrival to the parking area. I will text you when you can come in.

Wear a mask into the building and do not take it off until you have left the building again. You may enter early to use the restroom. Wear your mask. Then go back to your car and wait for my “please come in” text. (The bathroom is available to you before, during, and after group.)

Every effort will be made to ensure that you do not encounter anyone coming in or leaving. However, several clinicians work in my offices. You may meet someone in the hallway or stairwell (Atlanta office). I cannot guarantee that everyone will be wearing masks in the office building. Again, you can always opt for telehealth or virtual group meetings.

Please sit in the available chairs and do not move your chair. If you prefer to sit the floor, I will make a space for you to do so. The groups will be smaller, 2 to 5 participants, and I will have approx. 4 to 6 feet between each participant. Please maintain the established distance between all present during the session.

You will be provided your own fidget toys. Feel free to bring your own pillow, stuffed animal, and aromatherapy.

Note: Telehealth and Virtual individual therapy services are available. My Virtual services are provided on Zoom for Healthcare, which is compliant with HIPPA (Privacy) regulations.

When leaving, wear your mask.

You may come in early to use the restroom. Wear a mask. Please do not remain in the waiting room. Return to your car to wait for my “please come in” text.
